During our first class together, we'll get to know each other better, I will ask you a few questions about yourself, your aims and objectives and your style of learning and we'll talk about books, materials and the course's structure. If you are not a complete beginner, I will try to get a better idea of your level with a little conversation and maybe a few exercises. We are then ready to go! Depending on your levels and needs, we will explore together a new topic, a new listening or reading or some new grammar rules: there will be plenty of time to answer any questions you might have!

Even if you are a complete beginner, I will try to make sure we'll start with oral and speaking exercises from the first classes, so you will build up your confidence from the very beginning. Every student has different times and different ways to go through the initial stages of language learning. According to some linguistic theories, the first stages of the language acquisition process is the "Silent Period”. The main characteristic of this stage is that, after some initial exposure to the language, the learner is able to understand more than she or he can produce. In some learners this period may be shorter or longer, but this stage is perfectly natural!

Most of my students pay me through bank transfer. At the end of the month, I will send you an email with a list of the classes we had together and my bank details. If you prefer to pay me differently, just let me know!
